What the calculators do

Household and business calculator inputs are processed in your browser. They are not submitted to, transmitted to, or stored on our server. Printing or saving a PDF uses your browser’s built-in print function.

Optional local storage

If you check preparedness-plan items, the checked state is stored in your browser’s local storage for convenience. If you explicitly save a calculator scenario, its name and values are also stored only in this browser. Neither is sent to EmberReady.

If you use My Ready Plan, EmberReady can also store checklist status, scenario choices, preparedness notes, communication roles, and business-continuity roles in this browser. Avoid entering exact addresses, account numbers, passwords, or detailed medical records. You may export a local JSON file, import one you select, print the plan, or clear it. EmberReady does not receive the exported file.

County preferences

Optional Home and Work county choices are stored only in this browser. No exact address or device-location permission is requested, and preferences can be cleared from Local resources.

What this site does not use

No user accounts or profiles.
No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or nonessential cookies.
No exact-address collection in the calculators or community dashboard.
No sale or sharing of personal information.

Hosting logs

Like most web hosts, the infrastructure provider may temporarily process basic request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, requested page, browser type, and timestamps. EmberReady does not use those logs to build profiles.
